Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data AI for Work HQ ("we", "us") collects when you visit aiforworkhq.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep this short on purpose.
1. Who we are
AI for Work HQ is an independent editorial website about AI productivity tools. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@aiforworkhq.com.
2. What we collect
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which collects:
- Pages you visit and time spent
- Approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP)
- Device, browser and screen size
- How you arrived (search, direct, referral)
IP anonymisation is enabled. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical logs (IP address, request, user agent) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is necessary for the site to function.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your address and message. We use it only to reply and keep it no longer than needed for that purpose.
3. Cookies
We use one local storage entry to remember your cookie choice (affhq-consent). Analytics cookies are set by Google only after you accept. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security logs and responding to your emails.
5. Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting and security (global network, including the EU).
- Google Analytics — analytics, only with consent. Google may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.
- Affiliate networks — when you click an affiliate link, the merchant or network may set cookies to attribute the sale. See our affiliate disclosure.
We never sell your data.
6. Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email hello@aiforworkhq.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD — aepd.es).
8. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
